Nice REPU

Earlier this week I spotted this Rotary Pickup that Ive been seeing around town the last 11 years..parked right next to it and met the owner..a 71 year old gentleman. Hes done all the restoration work and has been the 2nd owner for the last 21 years. Its daily driven and hes already got an RB header ready to put on it

I guess there are a couple that run around town here. I've only ever seen one, but my buddies swear they've seen another. It's very cool, in a nostalgic sort of way...

check out mazdarepu.com for REPU information. They also have a for sale section and they pop up there every now and again.

There is a good one for sale in san bernardino, ca. check out recycler.com

REPU's are quite the rare gem @ only 15,000 ever made and estimated less than 3,000 left!

There are out there waiting to be restored and driven!

There's one around the corner from here, white with a big *** camper on it, no tail gate though,. I think the tail gate is the best part.

Yep. All of them. That's a factory decal to let people there's hmmmmmmmmm under the hood.

Unfortunately production #'s were rather low and only 15,000 REPU's ever made. They sat on the lots from what I heard. My 74 was first purchased in 75.

The letters ROTARY POWER are decals, as in stickers. They aren't stamped into the metal, if that's what you meant.

Jeff20B is right, they are decals and are not stamped into the metal, if you peel off the stickers then the metal is just flat. The decals came in two different combos, eithe the blue outlined with white center or outline with light blue centers.
