I didnt sell cause it was a non enthusiast female buyer.
But current market value that most non-SEs are selling for (assuming very good condition) tops out at $4000.

As far as I know the only thing this car has that other Series-3 12A-powered 1st gens didn't have is the power steering. This car was available in the states but not in Canada. The only reason I got my hands on it is because it was imported into British Columbia from California by a previous owner.
The "Limited" that you're talking about (the one with 14" rims) is a different animal, and yes, it was discontinued after 1983.

I think the car is pretty tasteful, nothing too over the top, although i have a strong dislike for pedal covers.

Who says "restorer" and "kid" are mutually exclusive?
I'm 20, and I've restored my 84GS. I'll have put nearly 5g of parts in it after the steering is done. I basically still am a "College Kid"... for another 13 weeks at least
The trick is finding someone who is young, but also makes his decisions based on solid research and lots of time on forums like this and in shop manuals, instead of on impulse from movies like "The Fast and The Furious" or while staring at fartpipes at the local car store. We exist.. but we are few and far between.
Jon
Edit: You know Jon's tired when he accidentally posts that he has a GSL.... Error fixed

lol I'm 45 and I find that car to represent tastefully mild ( not excessive ) mods. I like those seats, too. I like my Recaro's better, but I bet those cost half and I might get them if I didn't already have what I have.
No, that car wasn't thrown together by an immature person ( of any age ). I can see the love. I'm from Memphis and plan to look them up in a few weeks, because you know ? ... you never know !

"I bought them off ebay from Angeleyelister. Tell everyone thanks for the good feedback. We didn't have any luck selling it on ebay so if anyone is interested, have them send me a note.
Thanks,
Amy"
These look to be what Angeleyelister has for sale now:

But they aren't the same, as the seats Amy bought don't have the red trim.
