Ngk B10ev

I have some NGK B10EV's laying around.
Will they work in 85 rotor housings? I used em in 86 or later turbo engines before.

That's a fairly cold plug. I wouldn't advise it for a stock engine.

Yea,if you had to put them in to get running,it would work. But in an N/A situation, without a lot of heat or stress they would probably foul up pretty quick.I still run stock 7's and 9's in my S5 engine running 14psi of boost and Ive not had any need to go colder yet.Running 10's in a 120-150hp NA engine isnt needed or advisable. As far as fitting, yea they should fit....the surface gap 2nd gen plugs are lower profile than the earlier plugs.

I ran 7's in my 79 engine, those were factory stock. Don't remember the whole NGK name, but I remember it was a 3 prong.

hey steven hows life been? I post here and at mazspeed occasionally, between work, family and racing events I dont spend much time on the forums anymore.
Im hoping to do the soloII nationals this upcoming season and show the miatas the rx7 still has it. I managed to finish top 3 in CSP this year on the local level driving someone else's car.

Yah I still have the orange beast

Its a 210hp or more NA autox car these days.
they would be run hard for about 60 seconds then shut off.

Ill be your direction soon, I have to take the car back to mazdatrix to get it tuned on the dyno. Im just finishing it up. maybe you can swing by and check it out.

Looking good.
Those are great numbers for an N/A,and Ill bet the EFI is nice and crisp too.
I havent really been doing much with my car lately. Its pretty much done now,so I just drive her around and smile.Ive cut back on postings a little and mostly provide tech support for the guys here that want to do the 2nd gen engine swap. I didnt like leaving Mazspeed, but there wasnt enough going on there in regards to EFI and TII stuff, to keep my interest.

These days, Im about to finish off my Samurai build with a new body and coil suspension. Its nice to have a vehicle I dont have to wash and wax!
And I got a new toy this year,a Suzuki Bandit 400,a bike Ive wanted since I was a teenager. Its way too small for me,but its an absolute hoot to ride and it compliments my big heavy FZR1000 very well. Its almost all built up now, with GSXR suspension and brakes.Just a few more mods and Ill probably be hitting the track with her......

wacky am I missing the obviouse???

I agree steve, once youve done carbs and decided to move past them its really just not that interesting and their irritating at best.

Im sure Ill do a turbo again someday, boost feels great

Its an allmost stockport NA.
had to follow Street Prepared rules, porting is allowed but only within 1 inch of manifold mating flanges for intake and exhaust on the engine

big port on the inside and stock exit points.

mazdatrix did a great job.

actually I need something to gain a few mph in 3rd.

I have 4.076, gets me into the low 80's

the 3.909's or anything lower would help me get high 80's low 90's

shifting less is better for the autox
