Newb needs help...

I was wondering if there are any tutorials or tips you owuld have on how to install a starter motor inot a 79-81 rx7. I have no ecperience in mechanics though. Thanks -John

Well, its really pretty simple as long as you take a few precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (at the battery).
2. Jack up the car, and support it on jackstands. Do not go under the car unless it is supported this way (don't trust the jack with your life).
3. Take a good look at how the wires connect to the starter. Draw pictures or take them with a camera if available.
4. Remove the wires, then remove the two bolts that hold the starter on.
5. Installation of the starter is the same, only in reverse.
