I can hear again!!

I finally spent the $ and bought a new RB Power Pulse muffler to finish off my RB road race header and presilencer. I was running a S/S Magnaflow before the switch. I will have to say that the noise level was cut by at least 75%. I have not noticed any loss of power, in fact, running a 600 Edelbrock with SP, I think the small amount of back pressure the RB muffler gave me caused my fuel delivery system operate even better! It eliminated any sputter or stumble that I had before. It was well worth the money spent and it's nice to be able to hear the engine, intake and everything else I couldn't hear before. Would highly recommend the RB muffler.

I agree 100%, people often complain about the price of RB exhaust but like I said before you get what you pay for.

Yea, from what I've heard I think I'm almost definately going to purchase the rb system. Would it be best to save up and buy it all together?

I would save up and get the Header, Presilencer at least at first but if you are ready saving that much might as well save up for the muffler and get it all at once. Install it all together and then you will see how much of a big different it is. Just my opinion...

You don't want backpressure on a rotary.

I really don't think the RB muffler has very much back pressure, but would certainly have more than the performance Magnaflow I was running. Like I said, I didn't notice any drop in performance except with the RB muffler my fuel delivery system seems to function a lot smoother. Any how, I would be willing to sacrifice a little performance to quiet things down since this is a daily driver and I drive it about 50 miles round trip each day. I would say that it is about 20% louder than stock exhaust. It will be interesting to see if it affects my fuel mileage. I will let everyone know if there is any big change.
