New work, New camera, New pics
Pic #1: The spacers are all on and I went from 205/50r15 all around to 225/60r15 in back and 205/50r15 in the front. Finally filled the wheel well up without hanging out the sides at all.
Pic #2: The engine bay. This will be the last pic with the Mikuni sidedraft. It'll be a few weeks before the new induction goes in.
Pic#3: Interior shot. Needs a vacuuming.

Taking the place of the Mikuni ...
...Barry Grant Speed Demon 575 double pumper with manual choke, mech secondaries, and a RB Holley to 13B intake just powdercoated "almost chrome" (wish me luck). Should be highly tunable.

Please keep us posted on how the BG carb works out. I'm not that pleased with the Holleys and if this works better, many will be happy having a decent alternative option.
Details of any mods needed and jetting will be a great help, also before and after performance differences between the 2 carbs.

Just adding to this thread as I go... I just got the horizontal panel that rests on the radiator forward back from powdercoating. Laid in place for pic, but will fasten and put a new black rubber plug over the dryer peep hole.
I had it done in black crackle since it's everybody's favorite place to set tools. It was painted flat black before, but had dulled and had a few scratches and surface rust on the corners. Cost me a total of $20 to hopefully make it last forever.

My CPRacing (may there be a special place in hell) 4 point torque bar (see previous pics) is THEIR black enamel rattle can paint job that got scuffed really good in shipping to me long ago. Their CPRacing sticker is even crooked and not centered. Yeah, I'm borderline ****, so that kind of stuff just ***** me to tears.
Oh, and when they designed the damned thing, they let the passenger side firewall mounting point hit directly on top of the aluminum badge plate !!! Yeah, we moved the badge over a few inches. I never wrote that up, though. It would have been the "Move your badge over, sheriff because CPRacing is in town and he don't hang straight" thread.
Well, I plan to remove the torque bar and go black wrinkle there, too. But, I've got to weld a little tray on it first way over on the driver side where a pretty DLIDFIS installation will be happening.

Wheel well pic looks good. I would continue the treatment for the rest of the underbody. Control arm bushings look past thier prime.
How do you like the Mariah hatch? Does it make the interior space feel more closed in and how are the sight lines out of the back?
