New Wheels Available For First Gen

Hi all!

I am currently talking with Rota wheels & they are willing to produce wheels to fit the first gen RX-7! (4x110 bolt pattern) - they have a large selection (http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.php) but the drawback is that they need 5 orders of one style for them to produce the wheel to our fitment. I realy like the GT-3 (see pic)- its light, the perfect size (15x7) & will look great with a black center.

Let me know if this is something that you guys are interested in- who knows, this could lead to Rota making wheels for our cars permanently! no more "Damn I can't get the wheels I like for my car!"

I will soon have prices.

I got a price of $450 for a set of 4 GT-3 wheels (15x7) with black center & polished lip!

Is anyone interested in a set? if more than 5 orders the price drops!!!

The D2 is nice!, I dont think they can do a custom size though- the 17x7.5 is the smallest they have which I think will have rubbing issues with our cars.

What's the offset and weight? The web site only shows +40 offset.

and would they all have to be the same color? Gun metal might not be bad on those rims.

0 offset
3.25 rear spacing
18 pounds each

If there is enough interest for Grid, Slipstream, or Action rims - I will be all over this. As long as the offset is close enough to not be an issue.

I kinda like the classic cross pattern that one up above is trying to imitate. Kinda makes a 7 a 7.

Offset is correct and they are available for relatively cheap.

I believe the offset on a 7" wide wheel is 17mm but I am not shure- I will confirm on the offset with them tomorrow- they should definetly know- I also photoshoped the wheel from red to black- looks better!

Id be intrested if I could get the offset I wanted. But the GT-3 still looks kinda cheesy to me. I almost bought a set for the Miata, but I went with a BBS mesh instead. Any chance of getting more lip and negative offsets?
