someone should make a poll to see what wheels are in demand. I vote GT-3's or Track-R's. I think they look great on that 240sx, imagine the black ones on a white, lowered SA.
Hi Guys- could not get in touch with rota today- just got back from work- stuck in 2 hour traffic because of snow storm.

I cant believe the ammount of responses- I have started a monster!

I believe the GT3, JSPL, TrackR, Slipstream are the best choice for our cars- this is taking price & optimum size/weight into consideration- I love the D2s & P45Fs also but we have to be realistic! its a double negative- not only would they cost more but wil also hurt performance because of their weight.

I believe the best compromise in rim/tire size for the '79-'85 RX-7 is a 15"x7" rim with a 205-50 size tire- please I dont want to turn this thread into a discussion of what is the best size wheel or whose wrong or right- we all have our own tastes & I understand that- that is why I started this thread by stating that we have to choose a style between those who are seriously interested- I could of easily said hey here is a group buy for GT3 wheels- who is in?

I guess the best way to do this is to take a poll? everyone seriously interested please give me 1, 2 or 3 choices of wheel styles- if the style of wheel you like is not the most common- no worry- others might join to make the 5 set minimum.

what should the cut-off date be for the first order? any suggestions?

thanks guys

I think the date later rather than sooner. My vote goes to the GT-3's, if they can make them in the 18mm offset, and if they can't do that, then I vote the Track-R's.

Start a new thread with the serious options and include a poll in it. I like the 5 spoke style as it compliments the old school look. Weight and offset are serious considerations for me.
