Wow John,
That is absolutely awesome! Just frikkin' incredible. You da man.
Now I want one... despite the fact that I don't use bass much and it would take up all my cargo space.. it just looks so cool!
I went back and re-read everything again and can't find what size sub that is...?

If Sean and I can hook up, I will take measurements of his enclosure to probably make one. His was done in about a hour and half, even with all measuring and fitting! (it was cold that day too!) The biggest sub you will be able to fit in that type of enclosure is an 8.

I could not give a cost until I build it and see materials and time. I did Sean's on the DL because he's kind of cool and all. As soon as Sean and I hook up, I can get a cost out and pics of it.
Hey John, how is that 15" in terms of accuracy? I know that it'll get plenty loud but is it still pretty tight too? I haven't heard anything bigger than a 12" TypeR so I wasn't sure if the 15" would fall into that "boomy" category like most other 15's do or not.
And I know you were talking about upgrading your mids and highs soon. If so, check out www.edesignaudio.com They make INCREDIBLE gear for even more incredible prices. I have heard several setups and their gear is just as good if not better than JL Audio. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

A trick I used to use in my stereo competition days to seal the inside of fiberglass boxes was to mix bodyfiller and fiberglass resin together. Basically I'd take a large cup such as a supersized cup from Mcdonalds and fill it about half full with body filler. Then I'd add a small amount of fibreglass resin to it. You only add in just a little bit. Mix it together well and only use as much resin as neded to make it pourable. You do not want it too runny. Mix in the body filler hardener only. Do not use the fiberglass resin hardener. Pour this mixture into the box and rotate the box around until it seals in all of the areas inside. It should flow well enough to do this yet still be thick enough to leave a coating on whatever it touches. You may need to do this a couple of times to get to the entire inside of the box. It works great. It adds strenght, smoothens out the inside of the box, and seals it at the same time. It's also pretty quick. If you go the mixture correct, it only takes a couple of minutes longer than straight body filler to harden. This also works great for kickpanels.
Yeah, I can't believe that Elemental hasn't blown up more yet. These guys are first rate and their gear is on par with some of the best out there. That's why I'm trying to buy enough for all of my vehicles before they get too popular and raise their prices.
Absolutely sick! Great job. I think you might enjoy seeing this website.

I am not easily impressed. But... I am VERY Impressed with your work and skills.
What do you do for a living? You could make a pretty good living out of being an installer if you already aren't.

Well, I'm a director at a community center. I run the fit & rec department and I'm a personal trainer. My dad was a boat carpenter on yachts. I grew up un Ft Lauderdale (31st and Broward!) until I went to college, so I'm from your neck of the woods, thats why I like the bass!

. I just hope it will be half as mint as ur one !!! Awesome job cuzy.
