Question new oil lines for me?

the lower oil line on my oil cooler is starting to show its age and its leaking a **** load at the moment..

would it be beter for me to just go get another good condition one from a wreaker (it would be the same age as mine and could go as soon as soon as i put it in) or would it be beter to have one made up using the metal lines.. ?

thanks

Yeah, I was gonna say, definately use the stainless stell braided lines. Much stronger and will last you the lifetime of the motor.

When you cut the clamps off slit them vertically, i did it on both sides and spreaded the clamp open with a flat head screwdriver... Do not just cut it off, you need the nipple opening thingy to make it seal good..

We have 2 places here in town that do them, big river rubber and gasket and truck industrial. You need to find a place that makres custom hoses and such. Shouldnt be that hard, they are everywhere, start making phone calls and asking if anyone does custom hose making...

You will, however, probally have to order the -10 from summit or jegs

Oh and make sure when you dry fit the fittings on there, mark the releative position of the hose and the banjo fittings, that stuff will not twist, so if you clamp it at the wrong angle you are screwed!

Usually I'm all about fab my own stuff, but in this case I would just get a used or new one. Saves from getting a head ache.
