Thumbs up New muffler with pics

So i wasss, i wasssss gonna drop the $ to get the racing beat muffler, and i said fawk it and bought the stainless steal one from my local rotary mech. Well it turns out it sounds deeper than the RB muffler and i really like it. Its got very fat pipes and it looks SICK on a FB. i havent gotten it mounted yet, but i stuck it on today and it looked hot. $90 for this , it goes for 140 online. it quites down a RB header straight piped with 2.5 inch pipe ALOT, but makes it very deep. IM very happy, runs circles around those damn cheap things from monza, and so far it sounds better than RB's muffler. I dont see anyway i could ever wear this thing out ether.

ebay muffler would probably be just as good. that looks like a no baffles, glass pack style muffler (although probably filled with stainless steel mesh). I have something similar on my turbo II, but it is single tip, no baffles.

Sound

Sound is nice, everyone wants their car to sound good. The real question is does it add any HP? Rb mufflers are tested for gain, is there any reference to testing for this muffler? rx7doctor

actually, i'll bet the RB mufflers are a bit more restrictive, hence why it's so much quieter compared to any other muffler (yes i know packing material matters too). but have you seen an RB muffler cut in half???

i've had a ebay muffler on a straight pipe set-up and it was nice, but just too loud in my opinion. hence i switched to an RB muff. the chamber holes are actually smaller compared to the ebay muff i have, and it seperates it into 2 chambers, that's why it's so quiet even when it's on a straight pipe.

the muffler like what twigg has is basically just a big resonator w/ tips on it.

I give him a couple of months before he blows the back off the thing lol. Better pray to god it's stainless steel wool packed. I took out two mufflers in less than a year. Search it if you must. No lie brah. But if it lasts longer good for you.
