looks nice. i am looking to do an e-fan, BUT i can't at this particular time. how loud is your fan though, because i know a guy with a fb and e-fan, and its louder or just as loud as my stock fan.

That fan is very sharp!

Question, though - without some sort of shroud, will that fan pull enough air?

I've yet to run mine, the engine doesnt propperly run yet.

But i've heard its about normal for an e-fan (not too loud), and will only go on when its hot (w/ the thermostat).

No shroud, i've been told it keeps the car PLENTY fine (flows 2,700 CFM), and at higher speeds you dont want a shroud anyways, it restricts the airflow thru the radiator.

We will see though!!!

What size did you use? Could the shroud fit over this BTW?

Sheesh, I dunno a stock fan is hellava loud, sounds like a jet fighter in action.

That must be one loud leccy fan. If you get an unevenly spaced type it should be considerably quieter.

Or his stock fan clutch wasn't too good so he never heard how loud a stock fan really is.

The e-fan off of the fiero is a great addition as well, i got one from the junk yard and it sounds awesome, and i never get above 2/5 heat range. Its great, i'd be afraid to work on a car w/o a shroud, especially a flex fan, those things can be nasty. Nice sperintine belt system you have going on there, very cool; bet that adds a cool sound to your car also.
