All right guys I know some will think that this is beating a dead horse but through my experience I think this topic needs to be cleared up once and for all. As some may know I'm currently swapping a 13B SE in my 83 GS.
Parts needed:
-SE oil pan-okay I have that
-SE front cover or 12A cover-okay I have that too
-Now heres where it gets confusing!
-Front engine mounting bracket.
Which one do I use???
-Modify the 12A bracket?
-Some say you can use the stock Se some say you cant.
-RB adapter, who by the way says that you cant use the stock SE.
This question maybe old for some of the RX7 veterans and Gurus but for the new guys trying to get advice its frustrating not to know who to listen to and whats what. PLEASE can someone whos has done this swap(I know many have) clear this up and maybe our moderator can make this a sticky. I dont mean to sound like an A$$ but maybe and hopefully it will help others in the future.
