new car stereo

I am thinking about replacing the antiquated old stereo system (cassette, equalizer, etc) in my 85 GSLSE. Does anyone have pics of what they have done? Did you just use tray inserts to fill in the holes??

Nothing wrong with installing a carputer. Would only really set you back about 800$. Not too shabby. For something that you can have internet, gps, bluetooth, can play virtually any DVD format, and any Music format.

I love the look of that, however I just wanna cough out $100 to play cd's as I spend enough on other stuff already and only drive the car a couple times a week..

What you can do is get a basic single din cd player and buy a installation kit for it, along with a wiring harness. It really is very simple to do.
