I have read many threads on tire and wheel sizes. But does anyone have experience with a 16 x 7.5" rim with an offset of 40mm.

Tires: 205/50ZR16

I don't want to roll any fender lips or use spacers. I'm worried about trusting tire racks info.

i'm not sure about 40mm. but I'm using 38mm backspacing on my 16 x 7s

205/40/16 in front and 245/50/16 in back.

I wouldnt use a 205 tire on a 7.5" Rim.... the 205 will look too narrow for the rim.
I have 205/45/16 on a 7" rim and i regret it.
