Purchased my very nice 85 GLS on ebay for $2800. Lots of miles (160k) but solid body and great interior.

Matthew, you're going wild! Looks like you were the one that got KC's cars and that pushed you over the top. I recently got my third 1st gen from a guy in Atlanta, an 84 GSL with 85,000 miles for $1500 on ebay, just so you know that you missed out on at least one local RX7. This car is in excellent condition and will become my daily driver when my current 84 GSL needs a break. The wierd thing about the third one is that now I have an even stronger urge to buy more 1st gens, where will it end?

Ray

Ray the Urge never ends. It is like Girl Scout Cookies and Pringles.

The two 79's are from KC, Turns out she lives like 10 miles from my house.
The 83 LE was from TJgosurf here on the forum, Picked it up in Greensboro NC.
The Cosmo was local to my parents, and had been siting in the same spot sence 87. I just happend to catch the guy on a good day and got to buy it.

With my wifes cars and mine and parts cars we have 11.5 RX cars total. Time to sale a few again. Just sold two over christmas.

The 83 LE will probelly go up for sale in the next few weeks, The Red 79 is taking its place.

The 79 LE is going under a cover until, I sale, fix, or part it. Not sure which will happen.

The Cosmo. Going to see if I can get it running, if it does then the hunt for parts starts.

My site has the rest of my cars on it.

hey if you see something you want then make an offer. I like to sale just as much as I like to buy.

Also did you notice something familar? look over the cosmo and the truck. It is under the tarp in the back.

The Car is FOR SALE, It is in GA until saturday and then will be in western NC.

And here is the red one. Got it cleaned out and left the windows open all day to get the Smell out.

Driver door will not open, Feels like the lock does not move enough to unlock it. And the carb is off of it.

80 is the only first gen I have not owned.

Hope you put that one back together instead of parting it.

You are right it was TJ's car. We picked it up about thanksgiving. got it back together over christmas. It needed the Pilot bearing replaced, then had to unscrew every thing TJ had screwed. Still have to get the interior cleaned up. He was not real clean. Been tempted to offer it back to him, But the wife kind of likes it. She says it does a good burn out.

Just bought some new stuff.

http://www.matthewnanney.com/Red-11-78.htm

this is an 11-78 car, Has the Right hand hood prop.

http://www.matthewnanney.com/Silver-80.htm

With this 80 I now have one of each year. I may try to put this one back together but it will most likely become a parts car.

I still have one more 79 to pickup. Will be getting it on Friday.

And last some new Equipment.

You guys need to save some rx-7's for everyone else. I have been looking for a local one for years to no avail. I better drive south a couple of hours if I ever get serious.
By the way nice cars and nice pictures.

the Blue one Behind the Tow dolly?

It was this car https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/well-shes-dead-272829/

It was to bad to put back together so I am parting it out. Most of it has been sold or used on my 79.

It used to look like this
