Need Your Opinions!
I HAVE A T2 MOTOR WITH A 12A TRANNY NO HARNESS NO MOUNTS NO MANIFOLDS NO NOTHING JUST THE MOTOR ITSELF. I WANTED TO PIECE IT ALL TOGETHER WITH THE BEST PARTS, BUT GOOD PARTS ARE HARD TO FIND. NOW A FRIEND OF MINE FOUND A PLACE WHERE THEY SELL SURPLUS ENGINES FROM JAPAN AND THEY HAVE A COMPLETE T2 MOTOR, TRANNY, AND HARNESS w/ AND ECU FOR $1100.00 - MY QUESTION IS: IS THIS A GOOD PRICE? ARE THE T2 PARTS RELIABLE FOR UP TO 300HP? OR SHOULD I JUST WAIT AND PEICE IT ONE BY ONE BY MIXING AND MATCHING? REALLY NEED YOUR OPINIONS. ALSO, ARE THE T2 MOTORS THE MOST RELIABLE ROTARY ENGINE?? OR IS THE 13BREW??
OH YEAH, WHAT ABOUT A TWIN TURBO COSMO MOTOR FOR $1500.00? MOTOR ONLY! NO HARNESS, ECU, TRANNY. THE SAME PLACE HAS IT IN STOCK

IT WOULD BE EASIER AND NICER TO READ with the caps turned off....thanks....otherwise, I'd love a twin turbo in my 1st gen...is there a link? I personally though am going with the S5 13bt and getting my 12a rebuilt and fitted with a supercharger from Atkins

Okay, a few things you have to understand:
1. Write with proper capitalization and punctuation. It's very hard on the eyes if you write all in caps, and people percieve that as yelling at the top of your lungs. People will usually ignore n00bs who type like that.
2. We're not ignoring you (despite writing all in caps). Most of our forum isn't online between 2AM and 5AM. You have to realize that some of us have jobs, and other responsibilities (like sleep and family) that take precedance over spending time on the forum. Posting "I guess nobody cares" just makes you look like you're feeling sorry for yourself, and is a cheap way to bump your thread. Don't do it. Wait 24hrs for a response, and if you get absolutely nothing, bump the message (only do this once) and try to give more information.
3. TII engines are solid. If you want 300hp, be prepared to pay for it. It will be one hell of a project. Start with the TII swap and work your way up to bigger turbos, better fuel/spark management systems, etc... There are a lot of hidden costs you don't realize about building a high hp engine. Especially with close to 300 you'll be needing a solid tranny and rear end, an aftermarket clutch setup, and with any switch to an FI engine you'll need a new fuel pump.
My call is to buy the TII. With all the stuff that it comes with, it'll be an easier swap. Also, there is lots of documentation on the forum about that swap so you'll have lots of info to work with.
