Need your opinion!
Hi All,
I just purchased another 82 GSL with the intention of using it as a parts car. The problem now is that after inspecting the car I have found that the floor is in better shape than my 82 but the body on mine is better than the new car.
How hard is it to exchange the body from one to another? I have never attempted this before and have no idea as to what is actually involved.
Any opions would be appreciated.
Thanks

That's what I figured but was hoping that I was wrong. Never been very good at welding!
Well, maybe one of my buds will be willing to take on the challenge. The bottom of this car is in great shape, it's too bad the rest of the car wasn't in as good of shape.
Thanks for the info.

I am talking about the floor in general. Under the buckets of mine is pretty weak. The wheel wells aren't all that bad but I definately need new metal under the buckets. The general feeling I am getting is that you are right. It would be more trouble than it would be worth. Shame though, this one has a bad body but excellent undercarriage. Just seems like a waste.
Thanks for the post!
