I have a 84 GS. I am thinking of painting it. And I do not now where to start.
Do you have some ideas or pic's to help me out.

Start as in color, or how to prep? Unless your planning on pulling the engine and painting the engine bay/door and hatch jams. Keep it the original color..... It's better for everyone. I say this after painting a 83 charchoal blue with 2 viper yellow racing strips, and a 83 beige bright yellow.

Go explore some of the painting forums out there. It can be as simple as spray painting it yourself, Maaco dice roll, Earl Scheibe gamble. Or you can fork out the cash flow for a reputable $$$$ job.

Also they have a non tech forum here that's more for this kind of non mechanical line of RX7 talk.

Do a search on "House of Kolor" that's my favorite paint.

All the colors are good, the best one is the color you've got. I started out with the light beige fitted with the brown leather interior, I thought that was best:

Then I got a brown turd, brown leather on brown metallic has some nice points:

The next one I got was white, my current daily driver. With my retrofitted red leather interior I'm kind of liking the white:

Waiting in the ranks is the Silver One, again with the red leather:

But what I really want is that stock early '80s tornado gray, with just a touch of metallic. With the red leather interior. That's the best color.
