need quick reply about cat pipe

installing a racing beat cat pipe but in the directions step 5 it says remove the forward end of the larger tube from the intake manifold and slip the tube assembly off the car.install the cover plate included in teh kit on the intake manifold.....wtf?

try reading the tutorial on removing your rat's nest. that may help you figure out what you're removing, chances are if you ditched your emmisions, then you don't have that pipe.

What you're removing from the manifold is the ACV. The tube used to supply air to the cat to keep it from burning up. Now that you don't have a cat, you can get rid of both, and the air pump. Take off the tube and ACV and put on that blockoff plate.

this plate that came was like the size of a silver dollar and i cant find where it goes

??? Then I don't know what that plate is for. The ACV is about the size of a tennis ball, maybe a bit smaller.

I GOT THAT **** IN the last owner took the 2nd hose off and pluggin it with a sparkplug(what a tard) so i reliezed that followed the sparckplug and found where the plate goes
