I don't like to haggle on the phone either but he is a hour away and i didn't want to get there and he wouldn't go down to my price. I just priced it like he described even if it does have a few issues still a great deal where will i find another 1979 rust free rx7 in Minnesota or even any rust free rx7 that is rare here.

Rust-free is relative. The car is too shiny not to have been repainted relatively recently. There could be a multitude of sins hidden under a ton of bondo waiting to peel off the body in sheets.

To be offering two outwardly-good-looking SA's for $3k pretty much guarantees that there is more here than meets the eye.

That's true on any car not just this one i just have to look and inspect as best i can. The guy said it hasn't been in a winter at least since he owned it.

Also the black 80 isn't as nice he said it is almost rust free so some rust on that one.

Okay last bump until i go get the cars in a few hours. I will not get them today i have a problem because my mom is the only one with a licence right now my test is the 25 so the guy is going to trailer the parts car here then i will take a ride down to get the working one and we will drive it home but i will make sure to get all the titles and bill of sales signed over to my name first before that happens. So wish me luck and i will make a new thread with pictures when and if i get the cars today thank you all for all your help it really means alot!
