maybe i didn't search hard enough but i cannot get a answer about the following question. I know you guys will be able to help me with this.Anyway i have a 81 x7 and i want to buy a set of weld racing wheels for it. Maybe some draglites or even prostar . Now i dont know wich size, lug pattern, offset, spacer ect...???
Somebody told me 15x8 back 15x4 up front 4x110. Where can i get them from, price and what other choices do i have? Thanks for your time i you are willing to help, I'll appreciate that!

well, the biggest you can go one the first gen is about 17x7.5 and 17x8.0/8.5 out back but thats pushing it, unless you want to tub your ****, then you can put like 10 or 10.5....i dont know
(im sure that theres ppl. out there that have done better than what im telling you but i dont know...)
lug pattern would depend on the model that you have, is it a gsl? or a gsl-se?
if its a gsl then the pattern on that is 4x110
if its a gsl-se then the pattern on that is 4x114.3

the offset on the gsl is 20/22 offset
and im pretty sure that its the same on a gsl-se (but not too sure)
and as far as spacers go i really dont recommend it....i hate spacers heh

unless you get some like three peice wheels then you going to have to get them custom drilled....just go in and tell them what you want then ask them if they could get them drilled out, of course for a small fee, i used to work for a wheel and tire company and had my first gen wheels custom drilled for free....but i dont work there no more....sooo yeah
good luck and i hope that helps...

4x110 it's not a GSL-SE, it's an 81
I have fifteen inch Enkei's on mine, without the wheel wells rolled, and it does not rub with 205/50/15's Nitto's on it. I think they were 8", but I don't remember right now. It wouldn't take much more though and it would rub.

That sounds like the same setup i want to go with!
what lug pattern do you have? If is 4x110 like mine ; i have a question? is it the same thing as 4x4 1/4 or whats the equivalent? i'm trying to buy them from jegs but i don't know what 4x110 equals to; ie:4x4 1/4, 4x4 1/2, 4x4 3/4. ect. I also want to know where is the best place to get them from? And also what dou you mean by shank?

ps: I person that works in the tech dep. for summit told me that 4x4 1/4 would fit my 4x 110, is it true?

you can fit 225/50-15 size tires under the car without tubbing the wheel wells. I have falken ziex 512's of that size and all i had to do was roll the lip under on the stock fenders. They fit up perfect otherwise and don't rub unless you hit a huge bump while cornering at high speeds.
