Need The HELP....rotor pins

ok caz im sure i would have to ask 6 diff ways i got a pic how do you get these pins out? is drilling the only way?

(by these pins i mean all of them not just the 3 that are marked)

caz i thought there might be a diff way to get the pins out. with out drilling

They are not supposed to be removed, unless you're making a clock.

i know this or if you are going to have the gear cryo treated..and are going to tap the holes and use a lock screw to hold them in place so they dont try to get loose in the high rpms

but yeah we will say a clock is the only reason you would want to remove them

There is a thread discussing roll pin removal for the exhaust sleeves. Find that, it should give you a lead on removal. Process should be similiar.

Go over to nopistons and post this in the porting forum or on the performance forum here. You may get some hits that way.

BDC has a write up there, I think, Engine Building and Porting Section. that's how i finally got mine out.

You will probably need to use the screw method, I don't think you want to try the welding one.
