Use your old gasket or punch holes in the new one. The carb rebuild kit came with very generic gaskets instead of quality specific ones. Probably because the position of those holes changed over the years and they were too lazy to make up many gaskets, so they just gave you blanks to use.

Good carb rebuild kits should come with the right gaskets but they don't always.

Worst case scenario, I've used a thin layer of red silicon before instead of a gasket, make sure you don't block the holes!

And don't bump your messages, especially less than 24 hrs apart. By bumping, you push someone else's message down, which isn't very nice. You can't expect immediate responses. Some of us only come on once per day. So post your message, wait 24 hrs, and if it falls right off the main page, THEN you can try bumping. And when you bump, try to ask more specific questions or provide more info.
