Need help with 83 rim color

Hi guys, I'm a bit confused because I have 2 83 gls's that are identical in every way except for the rim color. One is dark gray and the other is black. Both cars are silver, however I'm changing one of them to black. Does anyone know for sure which rim color is OEM? I think it's the grey, but who knows for sure.

Then next question would be....I'm going to have the rims refurbished, so I have a choice. If the gray is OEM, would you stick with OEM or go with black to match the car?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks, so then the gray is OEM. Would you keep them black when refinishing them or change them back to the original gray?

It really depends. If you're just looking for style, it's your choice. If you're going for originality, then grey it is. I really don't think anyone is going to ding you on choice. The Plus wheels don't have a lot of pizazz so make them yours.

The black ones have also been highly polished where as the OEM is a more brushed look to the finish. Also the grey color may be the result of fading as well, probably was slightly darker grey. Have fun with it. They both look as good as plus wheels can get.
