Question Need Help!

Okay..so I'm the girlfriend of a HUGE rx-7 first gen lover. I need some help in finding something to get him for x-mas and his b-day. He has 2 rx-7's, one an 84, the other an 85. He wants to put a turbo in the 85...but i know nothing about cars...what can i get him? If anyone has ANY ideas or suggestions, let me know. (this is his screen name thingy...he has no idea i'm on this, but i dont think he'll find it? Atleast i hope not!
Thanks guys!
Michelle

a good place to start is mazdatrix.com or racingbeat.com I don't know everything he has done to his car, so i might say something and he would already have it.

im sure he'll find this thread. how much are you looking to spend? before you buy him any parts for his car make sure its what he wants. i would suggest something anlong these lines

http://motors.search.ebay.com/rotary...Z1QQsofocusZbs

http://motors.search.ebay.com/rx7_Ca...1QQsacatZ50428

the rotary clock would be awesome. just search ebay for rx7 or rotary related stuff. i dont know about him but i would prefer something 1st gen or general rotary over over 2nd or 3rd gen related items. good luck

That rotary clock is pretty sweet, I think i'm going to have to buy myself one.

But yeah, if he is on these forums a lot, he will see this thread. A turbo setup would be a very expensive x-mas present. I say get him that clock, that's pretty awesome, it's an actual rotor, I don't know about the housing, if it is an actual housing or whatnot, or if it even comes with it.

I would ask a mod to delete this thread ASAP, then get an account for yourself and reask the question.

This clock doesnt go into the car... it goes on the shelf in your house. If your are looking for something for the car get something else.

That is the clock we are talking about, if he likes rotary engines, he will probably like that. I myself, I'm realilng digging the thing and am thinking about buying one of them.

Personally, I think it's always best to give consumables as gifts. that way the gift doesn't haunt you for 20 years. That's why booze, candy and flowers are so popular. You could get him a nice car cover.

There are places that will take a good quality photo and make a full sized poster out of it. I know that's something I'd love to have...a full-sized poster with my cars on it.

Good luck!
