Need Car Appraised

Alright, anyone who wants to guess at what the car's worth I would appreciate your two cents, as I might need to sell it already.

As stated before:
1979 RX-7 GS
Street Port
New 3 core Rad
Welded Secondaries (Original Nikki 4bbl)
Dayton Clutch
Dunlop (forgot specs) Tires
Koni Adjustable Shocks
Front brakes/seats from an 84
Stereo (Aiwa deck, JBL Front speakers, Pioneers in the back)
BC Car, Currently in Manitoba
Freshly painted when rust free while in BC
4th owner
79,000 Original Kilometers
Converted to Electronic Ignition
Front Air Dam
RB Headers, Exhaust

In CDN dollars, what do you guys think it would be worth??

I would say about 8000$ CAN. That's what it would be worth to me, and I have seen some in good shape sell for a lot more down here in quebec. But people here will probably flame me big time saying FBs have no value...

The best way to get a feel for it is to put it in the paper, or a trader mag and put it in for whatever you think it is worth..then if no-one calls lower the prive a bit...then a bit more untill someone calls.....no-matter how nice something is it is only worth what someone will pay for it.........good luck selling it it sounds really nice.

$6000 to $6500 in Winnipeg - and that would be in the Spring. You will have a tough time right now unless you are willing to take some deep discounts

Around my area (Chatham, Ontario), you MIGHT sell it for $4000. To me, it is worth about $7000-$8000, but around here, there really isn't any intrest in first gen RX-7's. Any RX-7's for that matter. I would pay to see a Third gen around here.

if you cant get the money your looking for selling the whole car. maybe you should invest a little money to get a running 12a motor, pull your street port motor and all the aftermarket stuff bring the car back to stock and sell the car as a stock car then sell the aftermarket stuff. my guess is you can get a nice amount back from the motor headers and what not.

make a post asking how much people sould pay for your motor. see if you can get what you think it worth.
