Need advise: Swaping 84 parts into 80

I have a 1980 with no motor and bad front hubs. I am looking to buy a 1984 GSL for a parts car, but i would like to swap out the

Rear axel
front hubs and brake assembly
shocks and springs front and rear
suspention front and rear
gastank

I understand that there might be some fabrication involved with the shock and spring mounts but i dun know.

Also the 1984 has a beehive oil cooler under the oil filter?...i have an extra front mount oil cooler i would like to use, so is there a guide that i can read on how to do that?

Any advise is much appreciated.

Gas tank has a sender unit that your 80 will not have.

Trochoid has a writeup of using a 2nd gen cooler on his car, I believe it had a beehive on it. It
would help somewhat. I'll see if I can find it for ya.

That is all I an think of.

EDIT: Here is his oil cooler writeup:
https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/how-install-fc-oil-cooler-1st-gen-write-up-pics-462460/

And while searching for threads he made, found this on the S3 fuel tanks:
https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/84-85-fuel-tanks-facts-416682/

Double edit:
Looks like the S3 tank won't fit your SA unless it came with a compact spare. Fulls size spares
won't let the tank situate without breaking out the ol' sawzall.

ok that takes care of the gastank and oil cooler, but i havent been able to find any good info on my specific swap. The whole rear axel assembly including brakes 3rd member, the whole thing...and the front right and left hubs and spindels, brakes, shocks, springs, from an 84 GSL to a 80 SA.....from what i gather it should just be a bolt in swap ya?

I think you'll have different thread pitch on the brake lines to deal with...

Also from a thread that you started?

You don't need to put the 2nd gen oil cooler on either just use the set up that is currently in your 1980.

gas tank off 84 (or any Fb) WON'T fit your '80 unless your going to start hammering in (make shallower) your spare tire well. FB tanks have larger fuel capacity that forced them to use space-saver spares..... and then there is the mounting points underneath....??
Can't see it being worth the effort

If your going to swap the engine and front suspension, I'd take it out as two units. Remove the engine and trans as a unit and then the front suspension and steering as another.

You might also be able to take the whole shooting match as a single unit if you can get the front-end high enough. Taking off the wheels would gain a little room and then lift the front end as high as you can get it. A chain fall could do it.
