My New Rx7
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later now my silver targa Rx7 has a wider older brother. After 6 hours of driving to pick it up it was well worth the drive. Now all it needs is a bath.
1983 GSL widebody (possibly a Pacifica widebody kit), new mazda engine bought and installed by mazda with documentation with 20000 miles, 15" Alba wheels, full racing beat exhaust, etc.
Thank you partsguy74 for going through with the trade and I hope that you can fix up and be happy with my 1991 Explorer that I traded to you for your Rx7.

Couldn't resist anymore, did a nice spit shine for the new widebody before it goes to the detail shop.

Forgot to ask but can anybody confirm what widebody kit my new Rx7 has? I've already ruled out a Mariah Mode One or SCAA kit. Any ideas cause I'de like too know? Could it be a Pacifica kit?

Today my new widebody Rx7 went in for inspection. It passed emissions getting a 1.2 out of a 2.45 limit for smog. However mazda gave me some BS about how some parts of the floor boards have began to rust ( I think its road salt and dirt stuck underneath the car from its 600 mile trip on Saturday through the snow) and that there was a hole in passenger's side rear wheel well. So it passed emissions but failed the safety portion of the inspection. Hopefully I can find a place that will just run the emissions, though it is good know that there are areas in need of repair that are still repairable. I have 30 days to fix the problems. I'm going to take some pictures of the rusted areas (luckily the bins are not rusted) and I'll post them.

You should be able to just weld up the spots and be good to go. Just a simple weekend.

Thanks.....All I need now is GSL-SE, a 79' SA, and the longshot Jspec 12AT GTX and then my collection will be complete. Maybe one FD too..............................

Good luck with the 7, Rxcalibur. I hope you enjoy it. And thanks for helping out with the issues on the Explorer.
To all rx7club members who have helped me with that buildup over the last year and a half. It was fun, but I needed a 4wd vehicle and I've satisfied my fascination with the wankel, for now. I may return and I'll always be lurking..
And to all a good night.

Thanks to every else for their compliments. Next for this Rx7 is better rims (not that I don't like the ones that it has) and maybe a spoiler or a wing. Eventually this white Rx7 will be a silver one. I'll keep everyone posted with pics of my progress.
