Zach, I think I would of prefeered coming up by you and helping you restore the PA instead of the time that I spent getting Bens car for sale. I don't know what is about yellow cars but when I did all the work on Kory's Sa it seemed like I was never satisfied. I need THERAPY!

There is one picture taken that day that shows the rear ends of those 2 cars as well as the Avatar sitting in the garage. That is my favorite pic.

Actually, neither one of us likes red cars. The FD is getting painted Spirit R gunmetal grey and the Avatar is getting painted Arctic silver. We're going to leave the FC red because it looks pretty good as is.

And no, she's not a red head. She's asian. Half Thai/half Laotion to be exact. I'm the big goofy white guy.

 

After thinking about it, I've decided that after I remove the last few parts from the engine bay that I'm going to go ahead and prep the interior metal. I'll get rid of all the surface rust, check the support metal that's bolted in, and then start laying down my sound deadening. I'm going to do liquid as well as mat deadening. If you haven't seen this stuff before you should check it out. Everything I have seen/heard from this company has been extremely impressive. I just can't say enough good things about these guys.

Man, those wheels are killer on The PA. Have you cleaned those up yet? I can't wait to see this at SS10.

 

The wheels are apart right now and I'm not too far away from sending the centers off to get a fresh coat of that gold/bronze powder coat. Then I'll have the dishes re-polished and then put them back together.

That turbo set up on a streetported four port 13b made 319 hp @ the flywheel. (Rotary Engineering) I would guess on a 12A you'd make ~35/40 hp less.

I have some old info from Pacific Avatar and they stated that the 12A with that turbo setup made 200bhp @ 7psi. Not too bad if you ask me. I'm curious what it will do at 10-12psi. That's more than likely where I'll set it and leave it. You've got to love N/A rotors in a turbo motor.

I got a nice surprise in the mail about a week ago. The previous owner found a few "goodies" for me. It's the original shop invoices and payment receipts for this car!!!! All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!! This was one expensive car! I also got several hard copy issues of Rotary Rocket with articles on the Avatar in them. That was a nice surprise seeing as how I didn't know any of it was coming. It was just in my mail box one day.
