My New Le Wheels
So I bought some Le wheels from AussiesMG (Great Guy) and I sent them to a shop that my dealer uses for wheel repair.
I was completely blown away with how they came back. I figured that they would just blast them and re-paint them orig silver.
When I got the wheel back I couldnt believe.
Here is the process of what they did.
1) The entire wheel is hand sanded (yes both the front and the back).
2) He then puts the wheel lo a CNC machine (I think thats like a lathe) and cuts about .005" off the top of the lip giving it a machined apperance.
3) The inside and the center is then painted Sparkle Silver.
4) He then clear coats the entire front of the wheel.
5) Off to the drying room for 24 hrs of curing.
The end result is a stock looking mesh center with a machined lip and all I can say is that it looks absolutly sick....
I will post pics tonite so everyone can see...
