The finished one is actually a 13b, another job this guy has done, just to show what it looks like finished, though mine should look pretty much like that.

Yes I will have fun with it. Go crazy? nahh, you guys know me

The rear rotor died (apex seal most likely) and it's actually still in the car - engine is running on one rotor only. I could have gotten it rebuilt, except is a gamble because there is a good possibility the housing is damaged. So with a little extra I'm getting this one which is in mint condition. Or will be, once finished.

that's cool man, btw how much do 13b's usually go for, you know just the engine itself, not the rest of the crap. Just the engine meaning just the housings and rotors.??.

I don't know for sure. For a completed block like the one you saw in the pic, probably around 2k.

Sorry but I will not be available for the next 4 weeks. Im installing my bros new 12-A streetport next week. Then the following week, I have to pull out my other bro's TT bridge (built by Erwin) from the RX-2 and replacing it with a TII streetport . Then the TT bridge will go in a 73 corolla. The 2 new motors were built by SIDEPEX.

here's a pix of the bridge that Erwin built.

Picked up the new engine block today... awesome job by Erwin. Aftermarket parts were used for apex and corner seals, an upgraded ('93) oil pressure regulator, GSL-SE omp, and so forth. No pics of it yet, but I added some pics of the current engine as it looks in the engine bay, at the same link: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/c_d...=/d62c&.view=t

Install will be done during next week. Will post new pics then.
