car will start and run but then.............
Can someone please help me? My friend has a 1985 mazda rx7 gsl and it will start and run but after a while it will just shut off. any1 know what it is?

From: Trying to convince some clown not to put a Holley 600 on his 12a.
1.Replace the fuel filter.
2.While purchasing the fuel filter, also purchase a Haynes manual.
3.Measure output at carb hose after filter installation.
A. If within specs, problem is carb related.
1. Get back to us.
B. If not within specs, problem is fuel delivery related.
