My new Custom SS EXhaust system for my RX7(HSF)
Custom from header back. Took Racing Beat's idea and improved it. I wonder how much HP difference this has compared to my straight pipe (one large MS Lava rock muffler)

I like what you did for the exhaust hanger, going from one frame rail to the other. Of course if there isn't a weld or clamp or something there, the vibration is going to drive you crazy...
Then again, with how loud that's going to be, I doubt you'd be able to hear it.
It looks really good. How thick is that pipe? What muffler are you using on this one? Is this one the Lava Rock, or were you saying that your old straight pipe had a Lava Rock muffler?
If those presilencers are the same as the RB ones, the difference between them and a pair of straight pipes with the same ID would be nil. The main change is if you went from one pipe to two, or if the pipes had a larger ID, or if the muffler was changed.

Looks amazing, probably the best 'custom' exhaust I've seen. But I can't believe you used muffler clamps between the header and primaries. With the apparent quality of the rest of the exhaust system, it surprises me that you wouldn't machine proper flanges for that connection.

I dont have the spec(pipe OD/ID) on top of my head. This system is complete new ,incl the rear muffler.
The presilencers are straight throught design with heavey duty stainless steel wool. now just need to put into track use... too see if it will last RE's heat
I can't find a muffler shop like that My pipes are all crush bent.
Nice set up!
