How do the wheels and tires fit? Any rubbing or fender modifications to get them to work? If you are upgrading to the Volks I might be interested in buying the Sportmax rims and tires off of you.

Great looking car and Speed Ventures seem to be a great group of guys.

Mazdacomp used to sell the adjustable tension rods out of their catalog. I have a set of them along with the adjustable LCAs that I bought from kenn chan that came with the set of SSR wheels he sold me. I don't know if Mazdacomp still sells the tension rods, but you have to show proof that you raced in at least 2 sanctioned races to be able to buy from them. Their tension rods are different than the ones shown in the pics. They don't look that hard to make, which I suspect is what they do from the stock tension rods.

update update

HSF level up. now with Kia Sportage's 4.4 final drive was 4.0 from gsl-se. took it to offroad shop to install... they dont even clue what kind of car is it Why? because they have a lot of experience then regualr of shop i do have repair manual too . my current diff have bad bearing at pinon and the noise really drive you crazy!!!! i have to wear a ear plug believe me is worse then my PP FC, i could install it my self, but lock of tool here change my mind

also switch new tires 195/50/15 Toyo R1R. yes i know it wont be sticker then 225/45/15 NT01, but what can you do if you cant have choice. i was plan to get Dunlop Z1 but are out of stock.... and yokahama and brightstore is way over price here is like 2-3 time more compare in usa. aleast the R1R is like state price. with free install too since owner of tire shop admire my car sprit .

Going to change a rear ride hight tomorrow. now is sitting on eibach coil spring, the one design to be cut. but i did not cut any coil yet so the car sit pretty hight make it kind da hard to drive in bumppy track here. any body can give a suggestion. i know i should bought a book from gforce... but now live over sea have some ............... of course in rule of thumb is to have rear ride hight sit slighly lower the front. now my current ride hight the rear is higher then front. and with rear sway bar too ( going to took that out this time) pleast let me know

thanks for ur time

plan to do a track testing this friday if no rain...........

Have you considered adjustable perches for the rear? Allows height adjustment, plus you choose what spring rate you want. This is what I'm using, and it is a very slick setup.

Wacky always thinks he's in china town with all the asian goodies around him

On a more serious note, why not opt out for the 225/35 r888?

Thanks for link. well I am think to custom made a Double adj short stroke coilover with remove air bottle in taiwan. plan to visit the factory this week. if the result come out well ( on track and the street). might make it a group buy ? hows this sounds

dont forget i ship my sa back to taiwan.......... i think they done a good job. i already drove about 60 miles and so far so good. i did change one of wheel bearing too

very few. cause in taiwan most popular japanese classic car brand is Nissan and Toyota. special rotary get a bad name about it. most of people dont even seen a SA before. and not know they are a NA rotary. only na rotary here is automatic RX-8 which in my opion is a pretty lame car but not the MT lo

well i am still doing a time attack race in taiwn. they dont allow DOT race tires R888 hoosier A048 NT01 in my class. that why i choose R1R. plus they dont have that size in taiwan. and btw the toyo is cheaper then Nto1 which when i first heard it. it sounds pretty weird

More update ,

Finally get to install my custom build coilover and big brake kit

with custom made negative camber RCA I think i am first one ever did this on first gen

GSL-se pads compare to my new billet 4 piston caliper's pads

that is insaneof -8 camber in the pic!!. BTW i re adj camber back to -3.5

what you cant see in the pic is 2 peace rotor

First driving imperssion.
althought this shock come with 12kg of spring rate. the ride feel on street is pretty firm but not harsh as you might expect

as new brake. the brake feel become much better require less pedeal pressure to stop the car. since on my car i already took out
brake booster. so this is pretty important

as for track testing. will need to wait until next week to find out
