Thanks fellas, most of the stuff was bought on ebay for pretty cheap. Fittings and Steel braided lines coast an arm and a leg though.

Man, from just looking at the block with the intake on it, it never looked like it would have fit under the hood! It's a great fit, though, man.

Beautiful work. Best of luck!

I can't believe you have had that motor built for a year and looking like that. Even though my widebody build took me 9 months, I don't think I would have the patience looking at that engine bay and and not getting it finished and running, finances be damned.

Definately a well thought out and quality build. Good luck in fireing it up.

Waiting has'nt been easy, but I'm glad I took the time and did it right. I'm just hoping I built the motor correctly so it lasts a long time.

Project 88..... I started doing the polishing myself, but soon realized it was'nt as easy as ZI thought so i took it to an old Cuban man to finsh the job.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are clear for take off

At exactly 4:23PM my car showed it's first signs of life. She started right up and smoked like a mother for a few minutes. I did'nt go for a drive because my secondary fuel rail has a small leak where it was welded. As soon as I reweld it tomorrow, I'll go for a spin so I can try out the Rack and Pinion Next week it's going to my tuner for a simple tune while I break in the motor, and then I'll go for a real tune.

Thanks for all the support fellas. it's been about 1 year since last time I drove her and I can't wait to get behind the wheel.

Here are a few pics I took today.

EL NENE 7.......... I watched the Atkins video every night on my Laptop for 1 month prior to the rebuild. I also had a friend with me who has rebuilt plenty of motors watching every move I made just incase I screwed up.
