MY 1984 GSL - 16,225 miles

New member, I wanted to say hello and post some pics of my light blue 1984 GSL with brown leather. The car is showroom mint and has 16,225 original miles.
Anyway, can someone help with pics, I'd love to get some feedback on the ride.

I don't believe you. There's no such thing as an 84 GSL with 16,225 original miles. But I can't wait to see the pics, love that brown leather!

You're faced with a hard choice. A car with that low mileage in stock condition could very well be worth a decent chunk of change in a few years. Or you could yield to the temptation to put the well preserved engine through its paces.

I'd probably chose the latter, but I've never been good at keeping things stock.

I second that.....I couldn't keep a Kia stock if I ever had the horrible chore of owning one.

The pics were taken in email format but the files aren't loading, I'll keep trying.
I rarely drive the car, almost afraid to drive being it's so clean.
The site is saying the files are too big, they're only 640 x 480, the lowest res on my camera, what's up?
By the way, I've struggled with keeping the block original, just have't brought myself to do it.

Good idea about keeping it stock. Hey, you want to sell it? Then you won't have to bother with those photos and all the angst about driving it and all, heh heh. Seriously, I fixed the picture problem by storing them someplace else (I used cardomain.com) and then putting the link here. Looking forward to the pictures!

No, no, don't listen to Ray. If you sell it, you have the headaches accompanied by that as well.

Just GIVE it to me!

I can email pics to anyone interested for now I guess. Most people who first see the car are shoked at the condition, some don't know what it is. The car isn't completely stock, the interior, motor and paint are but I've added a body kit, 15" weds racing wheels, header, exhaust, weber's and modified the suspension, all bolt on items.
It's much hotter looking and more fun to drive now and mostly original.
All the emissions have been stripped, so it's not street legal but a quick first gen.
With classic auto insurance I get an exemption for the emissions and limit the miles I can drive per year, 3,000 I believe, I average more like 500.
Yes, with two kids, a Ducati ST-3 and a heavily modded 2001 Acura CL-S coupe, I've thought about selling her recently.
I have some pics loaded at car domain with my buddy's supercharged Accord from a photoshoot, I'll figure out where they are and advise.

Other than the fact that the kit looks. . .. browner. . . . than the rest of the car, it's very beautiful car.

Love that brown leather interior, and the rest of the car looks pretty good too. What a deal. How much?

Thanks for the compliments, the body kit matches perfectly but the photos were not taken with the best camera or under the best conditions.
The original body paint is near flawless without ever having to be repainted, you'd be hard pressed to find a chip in the front end, much less anywhere else on the car. I have taken the car to the track only a few times, I ran in the low 15's consistently, to give you an idea in regards to performance. The car handles as good as anything that I can recall driving, the steering is like when the car was new.
I have considered selling the car but not sure what it would take to do so, it's a hard car to part with, I sold every RX-7 I've ever owned but this one.
