Muffler identification
I was trying to figure up what this muffler is. I think it is about 8 to 10 years old. It is real quiet even when I was running it without a cat or premuffler. On the bottom it has C.S.C. made in Italy stamped.
Also what is it worth cleaned up? It has no rust and sounds great. I will be cleaning it and giving it a fresh coat of high temp paint.

I always thought it was a RB muffler. I bought it used and the setup came with a RB header.
I thought the manza exhause was louder. This setup was very mild, quieter, and deaper sounding then the stock muffler.

If it's still in one piece after 8 or 10 years, its gotta be Racing Beat. Monza uses cheap steel which is usually rusting before you even get it to your doorstep...

Probably 1/2 of what a new one is worth. They last forever and add power, so to someone that wants to upgrade their exhaust and not pay RB prices it would look like quite the deal at 1/2 of retail.

RB mufflers don't last forever. I took mine off, shook it, and heard lots o packing material sliding around in there. It had in fact gotten louder over the years.
It is worth something though. You can cut it open and repack it with ceramic wool from http://www.anvilfire.com/sales/k_index.htm
Ceramic wool won't transmit as much heat to the muffler can as stainless steel wool.
