msd blaster coil question

i got this off of the summit racing website, in regards to the msd blaster 2 coils

Do not mount these coils horizontally or upside down. The oil will not sufficiently cover the windings for cooling purposes and the coil may overheat

so if you cannot mount them horizontally, how can they be mounted in the stock location? or is that a worthless warning?

Mine are stuck in the brake lines coming off the master cylinder. I left the trailing coil in the stock place.

My air/oil cooler was held on by zip ties until I finally made brackets for it.

Mine was held in my the splash shield.. $20 each for new mounts? No Way! The splash shield holds it up and the hoses keep it from moving around much

how well do the msd coils work if mounted stock? do you think that there would be any gain, or would they just be comperable to stock ones in that position?

There's not going to be any gain unless you use the new pair of Blaster coils to drive each leading spark plug (bypassing the distributor) and use an MSD to drive the Blaster coils.
