ok so i have a dillema. I am building a 12a and need int. and rear irons. I found a 85gsl in the local junkyard but it sat in a flood; the motor was well submerged. The car has 127k and someone has already snagged the carb. Is it even worth messing with? The guy wants 150 for it but I don't plan on paying that much.

 

i would pass on the boat anchor.

 

Irons will most likely be pitted, pass.

 

It's worthless. You'll just waste time and money transplanting parts.

Not worth 150, but you might get some good rotor housings out of it.
