motor mounts

I have a 84 rx7 that im biluding a bridgeport motor .But i want to know if i can use the same motor mounts or moroso mounts ???Like its going to have more power i dont want the stock motor mounts break.

You can get competition motor mounts from a bunch of different places. I wouldn't use the stock ones

Go with solid motor mounts. I had a friend mill a set of aluminum ones. They're work great.

Probably his friend lol...just giving you hell. Im going to use stiffer mounts from mazdatrix....but if i can get some aluminum ones made here then i will go that way.

Yup, TeamSMS is right. He doesn't have access to that equipment anymore. I think it's bonzai that sells the poly ones. They'd be pretty stiff.

Solid motor mounts + Bridgeport = Shakey *** car.

Every brap you feel with the regular motor mounts. If you basically solid mount it you will shake rattle 'n roll.

You need to re-seal your oil pan when installing them. You might get away with it not leaking just bolting them on, but I wouldn't count on it. Bummer, I know.

The first gen RX -7 motor mounts do not attach to the oil pan like the 2nd and 3rd gens do.
