MOMO wheel on ebay, this look legit or knockoff?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261038960124...ht_5434wt_1185

Here is a link to the one I was looking at. It looks legit, but the seller seems a bit iffy. What do you guys think? I was digging the bonus shift **** too.

meh, looks convincing but people are so damn good at fakes that i rarely buy things from anybody but the manufacturer or a legit reseller of said product.

exactly what I was thinking.... I figure if the seller can't spell right than I probably shouldn't buy it... plus it's halfway across the world.

Looks good/authentic to me, but that seller only has a total of 13 feedback's.
I would look elsewhere.

I sent this message to the seller:

"So these are both legit MOMO products then? and not knock-offs? Is there any way I can be sure they aren't fake products?"

and I got this back:

"Hi there,
We are sorry to inform you that this is not 100% authentic product. The authentic product will be much more expensive... Thank you..."

this is funny considering they say this is the real product in the description..... I'm glad I didn't buy this crap...

As long as people will spend huge $$$ for a brand-name version of something mechanically dirt-simple like a steering wheel, there will be people making knockoffs.

One way to tell after you have already bought it is: a true MOMO (older ones at least) have "Made in Italy" engraved. The cheap knockoffs have it usually have it printed and it rubs off easy.
If you are in the market for a new wheel, a company here in Memphis called Grip Royal is getting popular for their steering wheels..

Yeah they're getting popular, they don't cost 2 to 3 hundred dollars for the wheel alone.
I don't know man their style just isn't my taste.

you can see the center dealie bob is different, so i was gonna say fake too, the other thing is the price, the fake is too cheap to be real

I like those Grip Royal wheels...the wood would look sweet but probably a bit too slick!
