Mikuni....

Anyone have the part number for the air filter that the Mikunis use? its like a rounded rectangle, I cant seem to find anything.

Also, does anyone have some velocity stacks laying around for a Mikuni? I would love to get my hands on some of those...

I believe the Weber stacks are the same size, check the VW forums and suppliers. For the filter, take your housing and bolts to the parts store and have them go through the K&N catalogue or go to K&N's website.

You can buy a round K&N filter and fit it to your aircleaner housing for Dells, you can probably do the same for a Mikuni.

Mikuni's air horns are shaved on the side so it will fit on small fiters.

The only reason they are shaved is to clear the damn alternator. With an alt relocation bracket, a full width filter could be run, with uncut stacks, which would give better flow.
