Mikuni 44phh photo's. What goes where?

Since a few guys said pics would be easier, I thought I'd post them. I think I'm going to pre-mix regardless of wether it's got nipples for the OMP or not, so I'll just cap them.

Which are my idle adjustment screws? Which are A/F ratio, etc?

Also, any ideas on mounting the throttle linkage would be cool.

Bottom of the carb... are these the OMP nipples?

The nipple on the firewall... is that for fuel return?

On the fuel line T fitting, I just capped one side. Is that acceptable? How about when I'm running 15psi of pressure?

Hey guy, thos two on the base are for coolant to warm the carb, I don't use them or have them blocked off, ignore them basically.

I have my T fitting set up exactly like yours.

Do you have a clearer shot of the linkage?

Steve

Idle adjustment is on the opposite end of the shaft that is the throttle linkage, it is simply an external bolt that restricts the throttle return.

Do you have adequate return springs?

To use the stock OMP you would just wire it to that same end of the throttle shaft so it opens under throttle demand, but as you know I prefer premixing.

Uh, I didn't do anything, Steve is the one you should thank. Your linkage has been cobbled by a po. If the screw at the bottom of the arc still comes out, lay the stock throttle cable in the groove with the end of the cable just past the screw, reinstall the screw and tighten down gently. That extra lever is not stock.

I can answer the easy question!

yes, the nipple on the firewall is your return line.

Crap, I missed that question. Deadhead the fuel system, don't run a return line, it does nothing but screw up fuel pressures.

Oops - I meant Steve. Lol sorry. Anyway, thanks for the info. I think that lever and bolt are welded on permanently. I'll tinker with it more in a bit.

Shouldnt I be running a return line with an EFI pump and mallory FPR?

I forgot you were going boost. Yes, run a return off the 4309. You can deadhead at the carb or run 2 fuel suppy lines to the tee on the carb. Makes no difference.
