Mid-range, or top end power??
Which is better. I have a choice of a true dual exhaust set-up or 3-4" single all the way back. I understand the duals will give me better mid-range while the large single will give me better top end. Which one is best?? My car has a stock 12a with a lightly upgraded intake manifold, modified nikki and headers.
Thanks,
~Jason

lol 3-4" exhaust on a 12a is way overkill you just end up losing tons of power... If you want a good exhaust setup go for the racing beat system... Its pricey but worth every penny, it lasts and lasts, sounds awesome, and provide awesome performance.
If you were running a turbo then you would want to move up to the 3" exhaust but with a n/a engine it will only hurt your power....

you want midrange since you'll be spending much more time there than in highrpm.
dual 2" all the way back to the rear muffler where it collects makes for a great exhaust system ala RB.
i used to have 41mm chokes in my REPU dellorto. boy did that motor scream but no low end and not much mid. Went down to 40mm, better. At 39mm now, works great for me.

That's an entire exhaust set-up between the two of us, man! Heh.
Seriously, though, shoot me a PM if you want the info on the header, Jason.
