does anyone have them i was wondering if they were good

i think they suck, it causes a huge bog when you slam the gas open, thats why they made it vacuem from the factory, if you could add secondary accelerator pump squirters then it would work good.....thats how the holley double pumpers work

contact Sterling, he can re work your carb to work wayyyyy better.... Metallicrock just got one and he loves it.....

i have it on mine..the bog is pretty noticeable.

i'm going to try it out for this months autocross. if i decide i don't like it...i'm going back to vacuum.

Sterling's mod includes an expanded accelerator pump... I haven't had any bogging problems. If I slam on it from idle, I do, but if you go smooth up to about 3k, you can slam on it after that! It takes a little disapline when driving, but you have a lot more control and can get your carby wide open with mech secondaries.

I have mechanical and I think that if you learn to drive with it you will not have the bog. It is nice to be able to smash the pedal, but we aren't fuel injected so you have to take it easy. The mechanical is definitley the way to go. I can out run any vacuum secondarie car with the same set up just because you can get into it maybe 500 rpms sooner. It is nice.
