Angry Mechanic simple job now mycar barely runs

It starts up right away. The idle is from 1,000 rpm to 2300 rpm, and when i try to throttle it suppers JUST a lil bit then the turbo hits and it takes off, when i left off now the greddy blow off downs left off the preasure with no noise, it use to be very loud, and i hear it release very slowly.

what he did was take off my turbo, replace a oil ring there because it was leaking coolant.
removed the exhaust, put a new starter on.

i just bought this RX7 and it ran great, now ive lost my blow off and it runs like ****. This mech seemly is good and it would be the type of guy to put it back together just as it was.

This is why you do the work yourself and dont trust mechanics =)

As far as advice goes the idle seems a bit on the high side. I dont own a turbo nor have i worked on one so I can't really be of any help sorry =/. Take it back and say "hey fix what you broke, for free". See what ensues after that

you gotta vac leak some where?
im guessing that you are talking about the "o" rings for the intake manifold?
if he changed the manifold o rings then that means that he most likely removed the all of your intake.
what kinda carb are you running?

Your throttle cam could be sticky or jammed. You could have a big vacuum leak.

Something doesn't sound right here. We need more details on the build/mods. Assuming this is in a 1st gen, what are you running for engine management and what stock parts have been replaced with aftermarket ones. The first item that needs addressed is the high idle. You state that it's a stock 88 TII but then you go on to mention a Greddy bov and your description reads like the aftermath of a night at the local tavern.

Start over from scratch and maybe we can offer some help.
