Mazda Shop Manual Quest

Ok, I know some of you have a real shop manual. I want one for 1981.

Either sell me one, copy one, scan one, whatever... or please tell me where I can get one.

They're available at mazdatrix if you're willing to sell a few limbs to get one. Other than that the only one I've seen scanned is the 85, and it's different enough that you should try and find the '81. At least in my case the differences between '84 and '85 didn't warrant me going for the '84 paper copy.

David,
I just bought a used one from ebay for my '81 for $4.99.
It has some water spots on the cover but the inside is still easy to read.

Check this other one out. Maybe you can get it at a good price also:

on the above link, if you change "85" to "82" it will bring up a manual for 82. Also I may be wrong on year. Try them all. Only 2 work, 85 and another one. Definately an S2 though.

I bought one from Mazdatrix- worst copy I have ever seen. Most photograph illustrations are severely blurred and incomprehensible. I find myself referring to Chilton's and the manual on some things..

If anyone comes across an original print, or second print, let me know!

Tom -

I have a FSM for the '83 model and some of the pics are just about unusable. I think it's the manual itself, not the copying.

You are welcome David.
I notice that the pictures are easier to see in an original workshop manual than in
the haynes manual.
