The best RTV I have ever used is Mopar RTV available at any Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Plymouth/etc. dealer. I grew up surrounded by Mopars, so of course I'm biased, but try an auto parts store brand and then compare it to Mopar's, you'll see the difference the 1st time.
I use MMO, and love it. I love the smell of it burning, some say it reminds them of a boat or an airplane, but my girlfriend says it reminds her of summers with me (in the 7 of course).

BTW: Walmart started carrying MMO and sells the 32oz bottle for $3 I believe, $2 cheaper than my local Pep Boys.
