Malpassi Fuel pressure regulator help

Can someone identify by using the letters how to hook this up?

It's boost referenced for carb use. Cant find anything on GOOGLE.

I'm assuming 1 fuel line feed, 1 carb feed, 1 fuel return, and 1 boost... but which ones.

Thanks in advance.

the sides are fuel inlet and carb feed, the fitting on the bottom is the return line to the tank
the small hose fitting is your boost source

Thanks Robert...

I just got this!

Thank goodness he put IVECO as it's interchangable with the short ISUZU NPR...... Bidding might have went higher if he listed as ISUZU NPR.

OMG!!! $31.00!!
you stole that thing!!

great buy
now get one of the aluminum universal I/C piping kits.. they are super cheap and the quality is really good

like this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Top-3...spagenameZWDVW

the pipes are bead rolled, the silicone connectors are thick and its got the good T-bolt clamps.. also since its raw aluminum you could tig weld the pipes together easily, if you wanted

Yeah that was a great buy... but the project is still not turning out to be as small of an expense I thought (need to buy all the stuff before my wife checks the statement).... but any little bit helps where I can get it and I thank you for the good price on the carb hat... and lwnslw for good price on the regulator....

I've been praying for a good deal on a wideband... but Ebay is not to place to find those at a cheap price unless someone doesnt know how to spell it.....

Thanks Guys!!!

If you want a good wideband that won't be too hard on the wallet, check out AEM. They make a gauge style wideband that comes with the O2 sensor for about $300, depending where you buy it. I have it and so far it seems to work great. It even has a 0-5V output for an ECU or datalogging to a computer.

It makes it allot easier to own these cars if you have the Lord in your life along with everything else life throws at you.

The way I see it is that the number 7 represents completion so we know God had a sense of humor when he made the RX-7 as it just never seems to be completed.

But getting back to that Malpassi I just realized that there is 1 more fitting on the regulator that I did not draw. It's on the top side of the regulator above the 2 fittings (total of 5 equal size fittings).

When I blow on the top fitting (the one I did not draw) I can hear a diaphragm adjusting and the air doesn’t go anywhere so I am assuming that’s the boost reference.

When I blow on the side where there is only 1 fitting... it goes out the opposing 2 fittings so I’m guessing the single side is in from the pump and the 2 opposing...1 to the carb, 1 to the fuel pressure gauge???

When I try blowing through the bottom it goes nowhere so I'm assuming that’s the return...

I could probably just hook it up and find out through trial and error... but if someone knows please advise... sorry about posting the wrong info to start off with....

the one you have is for a dual carb feed setup, most likely the masarati quatraporte one ugly car, but it was the bomb back in the day making many appearences on the Miami Vice show! one of my favorites by the way
